Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship pipelines connecting to LLM providers and platforms. You will lead internal AI initiatives and build agentic systems that reason, plan, and act, combining Java and Python with advanced agentic design.

You will work 100% remotely, collaborate across teams, and contribute to high-impact AI projects for global clients, with strong English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Deep expertise in agentic system design, including tool use, agent loops, function calling, structured outputs.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding as part of the daily workflow.
• Experience with MCP or AI agent orchestration frameworks.
• Background working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Bedrock; Anthropic experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship pipelines integrating with LLM providers and platforms.
• Lead internal AI-driven initiatives from concept to production.
• Build agentic systems involving tool use, agent loops, function calling, and structured outputs.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining full accountability for code quality.
