Hyre is seeking a precise CAD Detailer to produce accurate drawings for fabrication and installation teams in sheet metal and roofing. You will develop 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring constructability and code compliance for weatherproofing.

The role emphasizes high-quality drafting, plan interpretation from contract drawings, and secure file management (DWG, DWF, PDF). A technical drafting credential and 2–5 years' experience are required, with a dedicated home office for remote work.

Formación

• Education: Technical Degree or Certificate in Drafting, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 2–5 years of related work experience in drafting or CAD design.
• Proven, hands-on proficiency using AutoCAD. Working knowledge of Bluebeam Software and Microsoft Office products (Excel/Word).
• Core competencies include attention to detail, ability to work independently, growth mindset, ownership, and professional communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Drafting & Design: Use AutoCAD to develop accurate 2D and 3D drawings for roofing and sheet metal projects.
• Plan Interpretation & Modification: Read and interpret drawings; incorporate field measurements; revise drawings per client specs.
• Constructability & Compliance: Check designs for building codes and industry standards; detail weatherproofing and durability.
• Pre-Construction Support: Assist Project Managers with pre-construction tasks; provide clear drawings to stakeholders.
• File Management: Organize and maintain design files (DWG, DWF, PDF).
