The A Career is seeking a detail-oriented Interior Architectural Drafter to join its team to develop precise floor plans, elevations, sections, and millwork details in line with client concepts and building standards.

Responsibilities include translating designer sketches into construction drawings, coordinating with designers, architects, and contractors, and ensuring code compliance and accurate documentation. A strong portfolio is required for screening.

Formación

• Strong engineering/architectural background with drafting experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with 3D rendering tools.

• Ensure interior layouts and adjustments meet local codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Interior Architectural Drafter to join our team. You will work closely with interior designers and architects to prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and custom millwork/joinery details. Your work ensures that creative interior concepts match technical requirements and building standards.

WE WILL REQUEST A PORTFOLIO OR SAMPLE PROJECT(S) FOR THE SCREENING PROCESS

Key Responsibilities For This Role

• Technical Drawing: Produce accurate floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, and millwork details using drafting software.
• Design Translation: Convert designer sketches, space planning concepts, and mood boards into coordinated construction drawing sets.
• Material & Finishes Integration: Specify and document interior finishes, furniture layouts, fixtures, and hardware details.
• Revisions & Updates: Update drawing sets to reflect design changes, client feedback, and site condition modifications.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with general contractors, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all interior layouts and structural adjustments meet local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

Job Requirements

Technical Knowledge & Skills Required

• Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient.
• Strong and verifiable engineering/architectural background and experience.
• Knowledge in Design Software tools: such as AutoCAD, Revit and Lumion.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, plus 3D rendering tools like SketchUp.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating technical interior drawing sets, elevations, and detailed joinery.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of interior construction methods, materials, and standard joinery details.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent spatial awareness, mathematical accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches.
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload.
• Experience and proficiency in drafting, and also using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit for drawings, is required.
