Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code and flag issues using structured guidelines. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with flexible hours and paid per-hour work.

You will rate model responses across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation, and you will craft clear computer science prompts to push AI capabilities in code generation. Applicants from multiple Latin American countries are welcome.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions to develop clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push coding capabilities.
