Amentum is seeking a Project Logistics and Property Manager to be based at the U.S. Embassy, Caracas, supporting the DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract with the U.S. Department of State.

The role involves movement, distribution and storage of materials, serving as the technical advisor on property management, and ensuring task orders are executed effectively. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, managing inventories, updating property records, and coordinating with customers and suppliers.

Formación

  • Five (5) years property and logistics management experience compatible with program requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Public Administration or similar, or at least ten (10) years of direct experience in property and logistics management in lieu of formal education.
  • Intermediate level certification from a reputable organization (e.g., CPPA NPMA).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
  • Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements.

  • Manage, monitor, and track property based on site location, type and usage.
  • Maintain and update property records and inventory.
  • Act as the principal property management representative for task orders.
  • Allocate and manage staff resources and supervise property staff.
  • Inspect property for safety policy compliance.
  • Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
  • Plan and manage projects and monitor assets and staff activities.
  • Resolve property issues and perform additional duties as assigned.

  • The Project Logistics and Property Manager will be based at Amentum sites in US Embassy, Caracas supporting DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract in support of the US. Department of State. This position will be located at the U.S. Embassy in Caracas and is responsible for the movement, distribution and storage of materials and equipment. Serves as technical advisor on all property management issues. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
DUTIES:
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

  • Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.

  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking property based on site location, type and usage.

  • Manage an accurate inventory of all property.

  • Maintain and update property records.

  • Acts as the Contractor’s principal property management representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.

  • Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs

  • Manage property staff.

  • Inspects property to ensure compliance with safety policies.

  • Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.

  • Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.

  • Plan and manage projects.

  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff.

  • Resolve property issues.

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIRED:
  • Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:

  • Five (5) years property and logistics management experience compatible with program requirements.

  • Education

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Public

  • Administration or similar discipline, or at least ten (10) years of direct experience in property and logistics management in lieu of formal education

  • Licenses and Certifications:

  • Intermediate level certification from a reputable organization (e.g., Certified Property Professional Administrator [CPPA] from the National Property Management Association {NPMA})

  • Valid driver’s license from home of record.

  • Security Vetting:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.

  • Language Skills:

  • Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements.

Desired
  • Relevant overseas property management experience.

  • Previous international experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions.

  • Experience working with Contractor.
