Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician for on-site work in Caracas, Venezuela. The contractor will handle hardware installations, migrations, and structured cabling in mission-critical data center environments.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of data center experience, strong cabling skills, and familiarity with server hardware from Dell, HP, or Supermicro, along with solid English communication. DCIM and ticketing familiarity are a plus.

Formación

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Professional communication skills in English.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred.
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
