La Lucha in Houston, TX is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to join our dynamic team, partnering with Star Rover to deliver bold, indulgent cuisine. The role oversees back-of-house operations, production, prep, events, and staff leadership to ensure timely, quality service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of progressive culinary experience, including leadership as Lead Cook or Sous Chef, with a proven ability to lead under pressure and drive a cohesive kitchen culture.

Formación

• 3-years of progressive culinary experience preferred, one of which in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef position.

Responsabilidades

• The Sous Chef manages hourly back-of-house staff and assists in day-to-day kitchen operations, including production, prep, events, stewarding, purchasing and receiving.
• Leads the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef and maintains a cohesive team while delegating under pressure.
