Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site freelance work in La Urbina, Venezuela. This contract role supports mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities, with an hourly USD rate ranging from $8 to $12 depending on experience and project complexity.

Responsibilities include hardware installations, migrations, cabling, server racking, troubleshooting, and detailed documentation.

Formación

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Professional communication in English.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS or similar) - preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred.
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in La Urbina, VE. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

$8-12/hr (USD hourly)

Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.
