Hedonisia Hawaii Creative Community: Lava to Lotus and Yin-Yang Feminism
A leading media organization is seeking a Meteorologist/Entrepreneur Publisher to own weather narratives across iconic adventure brands. This role involves creating engaging forecasts and content, integrating data-driven insights with audience needs. Candidates should have a background in meteorology and social media, showcasing the ability to translate complex weather data into relatable content for adventure sports lovers. This is a performance-driven compensation model emphasizing revenue share.
Location: Remote
Vertical: Lifestyle / Adventure Sports (Powder, Surfer, Men’s Journal)
Model: Performance-Based Revenue Share (Entrepreneurial Partnership)
The Arena Group is seeking a visionary Meteorologist/Entrepreneur Publisher to own the weather narrative across our most iconic adventure brands. You will be the definitive voice of "The Forecast" for Powder, Surfer, and Men’s Journal, transforming raw atmospheric data into actionable, high‑engagement content for skiers, surfers and outdoor enthusiasts.
As an Entrepreneur Publisher, you operate with the soul of a startup and the scale of a media giant. You will leverage our proprietary tech stack to build a multi‑platform weather desk that drives millions of monthly views and captures high‑value audience segments.
Vertical Ownership: Act as the primary meteorologist for the Adventure Network. You will produce daily, high‑utility "Strike Mission" forecasts for Surfer, "Powder Alerts" for the ski community, and regular weather‑impacting news coverage for Men’s Journal.
SEO & Data Strategy: Utilize tools to identify trending weather events, optimizing content for "zero‑click" search environments and high‑intent queries (e.g., "Best time to surf North Shore this weekend").
Brand Integration: Collaborate with the gear editors at Men’s Journal to tie weather patterns to product recommendations (e.g., "The El Niño forecast vs. the 5 shells you need").
The Scientist: You have experience in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science. You don't just read the models; you interpret them for the specific needs of the reader.
The Creator: You have a social media presence, whether it's via short‑form vertical video (TikTok/Reels) or high‑fidelity YouTube deep dives.
The Entrepreneur: You understand that your income is tied to your impact. You are comfortable managing your own content rhythm and are driven by growing traffic and audience retention.
The Adventurer: You live the lifestyle. You know why a "ground swell" matters to a surfer and why "density altitude" matters to a mountain athlete.
Monetization & Sales: We handle the heavy lifting of programmatic ad sales, direct brand sponsorships, and affiliate marketing. You focus on the weather; we focus on the revenue.
Tech Stack: Instant access to our publishing platform, real‑time data analytics, and SEO tools.
Authority: Instant "Blue Check" credibility by publishing under the banners of Men’s Journal, Surfer, and Powder.
This is an Entrepreneurial Partnership. Your compensation is a performance‑based revenue share of the advertising, commerce, and syndication revenue generated by your content.
