Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington in Kirkland is seeking a Group Exercise Zumba/Dance Fitness Instructor to safely lead members in a high-energy, group setting, and serve as an education resource on fitness. This part-time role focuses on motivating participants, maintaining safe form, and delivering engaging classes.

You will prep music and equipment, adjust routines for all levels, and promote the Gold's Gym GGX program during sessions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe dance exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of physiology and body mechanics.
• Performance of a variety of exercise routines.
• Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
• Certification required in the Group Exercise Instructor's specific program(s).
• Current CPR certification and basic first aid training required.
• Physical demands include lifting light weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, and kicking.

Responsibilities

• Lead Zumba/Dance Fitness classes safely in a group setting.
• Assess participant fitness levels and tailor instructions.
• Maintain clear verbal cues, music tempo, and class atmosphere.
• Monitor form and offer modifications for all levels.
• Promote Gold's Gym and GGX during class.
