Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe yoga technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• CPR certification and basic first aid training required.
• Certification required in the Group Exercise Instructor's program(s).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Introduce yourself and the format of the class.
• Gauge fitness level of first-timers privately.
• Ensure clear verbal instructions and appropriate music volume.
• Monitor participants for correct form; offer variations for all levels.
• Create a motivational and fun environment for participants.
• Return equipment to proper settings after class.
• Ensure room is ready for the next class and answer questions.
