Yoh is seeking a hands-on Zscaler Operations Analyst/Engineer to support rollout, administration, and ongoing operations of an enterprise Zscaler environment. The role focuses on the operational side of Zscaler, including implementation support, day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and break/fix activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network engineering or network operations background with hands-on experience supporting Zscaler in production.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Zscaler Operations Analyst / Engineer to support the rollout, administration, and ongoing operations of an enterprise Zscaler environment.

This individual will take ownership of the operational side of the Zscaler suite, including implementation support, day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and break/fix activities. A key focus will be supporting the rollout of Zscaler for branch application connectivity, including App Connectors and Branch Connectors.

The ideal candidate will come from a strong network engineering or network operations background and have hands‑on experience supporting Zscaler in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational support of the Zscaler platform.
• Support the rollout of Zscaler across branch locations and branch application connectivity.
• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Zscaler App Connectors and Branch Connectors.
• Provide hands‑on break/fix support for Zscaler‑related connectivity and operational issues.
• Troubleshoot application access, connectivity, routing, DNS, and network‑related issues involving Zscaler.
• Support configuration changes, platform updates, testing, and ongoing optimization of the Zscaler environment.
• Monitor the environment and investigate issues impacting users, branch locations, applications, or network connectivity.
• Work closely with network, infrastructure, security, and application teams to troubleshoot cross‑functional issues.
• Help establish an internal Zscaler operational knowledge base, including configurations, troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and resolutions.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
• Serve as a subject‑matter resource for ongoing Zscaler operational support.
• Coordinate with Zscaler support and other vendors as needed to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support the organization’s broader network environment, which currently utilizes HPE/HP networking technology and is expected to transition toward Cisco Meraki.

Required Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience supporting Zscaler in a production enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with Zscaler App Connector deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Zscaler Branch Connector or comparable branch connectivity implementations.
• Strong network engineering or network operations background.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and application connectivity issues.
• Solid understanding of:
  • TCP/IP
  • DNS
  • Routing
  • Network security
  • Firewalls
  • Application connectivity
  • SSL/TLS
  • Zero Trust networking concepts
• Experience providing operational support and resolving production incidents.
• Ability to independently investigate issues and drive problems through resolution.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to build technical procedures, runbooks, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple components of the Zscaler product suite.
• Experience with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and/or Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA).
• Hands‑on experience with HPE/HP networking technologies.
• Cisco Meraki experience, especially supporting enterprise or branch networking environments.
• Experience working within a Zero Trust or SASE architecture.
• Experience supporting large, distributed environments with multiple branch locations.
• Previous experience helping an organization establish operational processes around a newly implemented network/security platform.
