Job summary

Zohorecruit in the United States (Remote) is seeking a Sr AWS Cloud Solutions Architect with EVS to design and deploy VMware Cloud Foundation on AWS, enabling lift-and-shift of workloads. The role focuses on EVS provisioning, vCenter/ESXi/vSAN configuration, and hybrid connectivity with AWS services such as S3 and VPC.

You will drive migration strategies and security integrations. Ideal candidates bring 10-15+ years' experience in VMware and cloud architecture, strong IaC skills with Terraform

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in VMware vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN.
• Strong design skills for hybrid cloud and AWS EVS.
• Experience planning large-scale migrations and cutovers.

Responsibilities

• Lead EVS cluster deployment and SDDC configuration.
• Engineer network connectivity between EVS and AWS VPCs.
• Implement secure IAM integration and RBAC for VMware workloads.

EVS (Elastic VMware Service)

EVS provides VMware Cloud Foundation on AWS, enabling lift-and-shift of VMware-based workloads to AWS without re-platforming.
Resource Requirements:

• EVS cluster provisioning in target AWS regions
  
• vCenter, ESXi host, and vSAN configuration within the EVS environment
  
• Network connectivity between EVS and native AWS services (VPC integration, ENI attachments)
  
• VM migration tooling (HCX or equivalent) for workload mobility from on-premises VMware to EVS
  
• Licensing alignment for VMware components
  

Professional Services Core Skillsets:
