Job summary

Zoom is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to advance ZoomAI and Machine Learning services in a high-availability environment. You will work on large-scale systems, ensure 99.999% uptime, and contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives.

You'll join a collaborative team focused on scalable infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and proactive monitoring, using a broad set of DevOps tools across AWS, Kubernetes, and automation platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficient with Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and DevOps tooling.
• Strong monitoring know-how with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Proficient in Python, Shell, and scripting languages.
• Experience writing and managing Ansible Playbooks, including Ansible Tower.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and shell environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ZoomAI services’ release deployment and maintenance.
• Investigate architectural or operational inefficiencies across ZoomAI services and environments.
• Design and implement enhancements in deployment pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• Design and implement zero-downtime Zoom services (99.999%).
• Develop CI/CD automation to maintain a scalable architecture.
• Automate monitoring metrics, identify and troubleshoot service issues.

What you can expect

As a Zoom AI DevOps Engineer, you can expect to work on high-impact, large-scale systems that support ZoomAI and Machine Learning services. You'll be part of a fast-moving, technically advanced team focused on building and maintaining highly available (99.999%) services. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to grow, innovate, and contribute to Zoom’s cutting-edge AI initiatives.

About the Team

The ZoomAI DevOps team is a collaborative group dedicated to building scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for ZoomAI and Machine Learning services. Comprising individuals with varying levels of experience, the team promotes an open atmosphere. Knowledge sharing, innovation, and practical problem-solving are integral to their daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining ZoomAI services’ release deployment and maintenance.
• Conducting in-depth investigations across various ZoomAI services and environments to identify architectural or operational inefficiencies.
• Designing and implementing enhancements in deployment pipelines and CI/CD automation to improve reliability and accelerate release processes.
• Designing and implement zero-downtime Zoom services (99.999%)
• Developing CI/CD automation to maintain a scalable architecture.
• Automating monitoring metrics, identify and troubleshoot service issues.

What we’re looking for

• Have hands-on expertise in AWS Bedrock.
• Demonstrate experience in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Show skills in using Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and other DevOps tools.
• Bring expertise in Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and related monitoring tools.
• Demonstrate expertise in programming using Python, Shell, and various scripting languages.
• Own experience in writing and managing Ansible Playbooks and working with Ansible Tower.
• Exhibit deep understanding of Linux systems and shell environments.
• Bring experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings

Minimum: $87,600.00

Maximum: $186,000.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
