Job summary

NEXHR is seeking a Zone Production Manager to oversee plant operations in the Northern region of California. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation while achieving KPIs and annual plan objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and 2+ years in leadership, with working knowledge of OSHA 1910 process-safety requirements. Prior experience in process industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and execution skills.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• At least 2 years of people leadership or functional leadership experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced operational setting with demanding customers.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 process-safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE, process safety, engineering and environmental standards.
• Oversee on-site operations, maintenance, quality and service delivery.
• Drive cost competitiveness, continuous improvement and EMOC change standards.
• Lead teams to meet performance, reliability and customer service targets.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
