University of Virginia is seeking a Zone Maintenance Supervisor to lead a diverse trades team responsible for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems across North Grounds. This on-site role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and customer service to deliver reliable maintenance services to UVA facilities.

The position requires a high school diploma, 4 years of relevant experience, and a Journeyman/Master license in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, with preferred 10+ years in

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Four years of building, maintenance, or related trade experience.
Journeyman or Master level license in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and direct maintenance operations for a diverse team of trades workers.
Plan, coordinate and execute customer project requests using in-house and contractors.
Direct daily assignments to prioritize jobs and manage maintenance work orders.
Collaborate with Zone Manager and FM specialty teams to provide service.
Ensure OSHA and building-code compliance and safety training.
