Duke University is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support preventive maintenance and timely repairs across hospital and medical center facilities. This on-site role focuses on routine upkeep of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems within assigned areas.
Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years in building maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NC driver’s license. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with shop personnel as needed.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance in the repair and maintenance of buildings, facilities and equipment within assigned areas of Duke University Hospital and Medical Center.
On-site
Experience/training in a healthcare setting preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Three to four years minimum experience required either in a specific trade or in general building maintenance and repair.
Valid N.C. Driver's license and a driving history acceptable under the guidelines of the Safe Driving Policy.

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $22.05 to USD $36.47.
