Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Lead Warehouse Material Handler in Taunton, MA. The role focuses on receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping inventory within a warehouse employing a Warehouse Management System, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–9:00pm, and starts at $26.00 per hour depending on experience. Previous warehouse leadership and 4+ years of experience are preferred; candidates must be comfortable with heights

Qualifications

• Must have advanced level experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Able to pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age 18 years old; 4+ years warehousing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse Manager by directing the work in an assigned area
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process
• Select, pack and palletize shipments
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections
