Role Description

The Zipline Guide is a part-time, on-site role based at Utah Adventure Park in Wallsburg, UT. In this position, the guide assists guests with harnessing and safety equipment, conducts safety briefings, and ensures all participants understand and follow park rules and procedures. The role includes operating zipline platforms, monitoring guest progress on the course, and communicating clearly to support a safe and enjoyable experience. Zipline Guides help with basic equipment checks, support routine course inspections, and assist in responding calmly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies. The guide also provides friendly customer service, answers guest questions, and helps maintain a clean, organized work area around the zipline course.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow and enforce safety protocols and procedures, with strong situational awareness in an outdoor, adventure setting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, including the ability to give clear instructions and interact positively with guests of all ages.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work at heights, lift and adjust equipment, and move comfortably around uneven terrain.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and willingness to wear appropriate safety and protective gear.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work part-time schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with other guides and park staff to support smooth operations.
• Previous experience in outdoor recreation, adventure tourism, or guiding roles is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
• Basic first aid and CPR certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain them within a defined timeframe.
