Job summary

MSCCN in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Plating Operator for 2nd shift to set up and operate zinc plating lines. Work schedule is Mon-Fri 2:30PM-11PM with training on 1st shift. Overtime is available.You will follow processing specs, maintain records, perform inspections, load/unload, and assist in utility duties. Must read and write English, communicate well, and be able to operate hoist and forklift. Attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate zinc plating lines per specifications.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records and log sheets.
• Promptly complete all required paperwork and report issues.
• Handle and load/unload parts using baskets, racks, or drums.
• Pre-plan work to maximize production and meet timing.
• Perform in-process and post-process inspections as required.
• Add chemical solutions under lab direction and assist in testing.
