Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Zero Trust Security Architect to lead secure connectivity design across global cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on ZTNA, Zscaler, cloud VPN architectures, SASE, and SSE technologies to enable secure operations and support M&A initiatives.

The ideal candidate has deep cloud security expertise, strong architecture leadership, and hands-on experience in scalable Zero Trust deployments across AWS/Azure environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security/enterprise architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in Zero Trust, ZTNA, and secure connectivity.
• Hands-on with Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA).
• Experience in multi-cloud (AWS/Azure) security and networking.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise Zero Trust security architectures across identity, apps, networks, and data.
• Architect secure connectivity including cloud VPN, remote access, and hybrid-cloud models.
• Lead Zscaler capabilities deployment and policy enforcement.
• Define identity-aware access models based on least privilege.
• Guide M&A security integration and migration planning.
• Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews for trust boundaries.
• Develop standards, reference architectures, and reusable artifacts.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to embed controls.
• Evaluate Zscaler, SASE, SSE, VPN technologies and provide oversight.
