Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Network Security Microsegmentation Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise microsegmentation using Illumio, strengthening Zero Trust protections across workloads. You will partner with app, infra, and security teams to analyze traffic, define dependencies, and enforce least-privilege access in production environments.

The role requires hands-on Illumio experience, strong networking fundamentals, and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network security engineering experience.
• Hands-on Illumio experience.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with firewall policy design and traffic analysis.
• Experience with Windows and Linux.
• Ability to analyze network traffic and security logs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain microsegmentation policies using Illumio.
• Analyze application communication flows and define dependencies.
• Enforce least-privilege access aligned to Zero Trust principles.
• Deploy segmentation policies across hybrid and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams.
• Troubleshoot blocked or unexpected traffic.
• Document segmentation design and procedures.
• Support change management and policy lifecycle operations.
