Job summary

Apogee Engineering is seeking a Zero Trust Architecture Engineer to design and implement ZTA across NASIC environments. You will develop governance, standards, and guardrails to secure mission data across multiple domains, working on-site at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Responsibilities

• Help develop ZTA frameworks, governance models, and technical standards for NASIC architectures.
• Translate DoD, AF, and IC security policy into ZTA controls.
• Analyze architectures and recommend ZTA-compliant enhancements and mitigations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align ZTA designs with enterprise security processes.
• Contribute to implementation plans and baselines for ZTA capabilities.
• Prepare the monthly ZTA Posture Report detailing status, issues, and actions.
