The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is seeking a Manufacturing Unit Leader in the United States. You will oversee safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity with a focus on Zero Loss Thinking and the Goodyear Production System (GPS).

This role partners across functions and with union leadership to deliver sustainable plant results aligned with objectives. You will lead daily operations, optimize end-to-end value streams, and drive continuous improvement while building leadership

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
10+ years of manufacturing experience in production, quality, engineering, or related field.

Mansioni

Lead daily manufacturing unit operations and reinforce standard work and GPS.
Optimize value stream from materials to finished goods with data-driven decisions.
Use KPIs and cost/accountability to close performance gaps and improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Develop and coach talent with clear expectations and succession planning.
Partner with union leadership to ensure adherence to the labor agreement and operational flexibility.
Manage labor, operating costs, and capital while complying with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and Environmental standards.
