Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in the United States to provide quality support for production operations and ensure supplier parts meet engineering requirements. You will drive quality improvements, enforce company standards, and work across functions to implement process improvements for the supply base.

You will lead advanced quality planning, root cause analysis, and problem-solving efforts, while conducting supplier audits and delivering zero-defect launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with two years of automotive QA/Manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of advanced quality planning, inspection equipment and techniques, and TS16949.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations to ensure supplier parts meet engineering requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and implement CAPA.
• Report progress to management and manage risk on launches.
