City of Ann Arbor is seeking a Facility Operator to run the ice resurfacer and assist with maintenance at Vets Park. Responsibilities include snow removal and sanitizing high-contact areas, with duties during public skating such as rink attendant or skate sharpener as needed.
Applicants must be 18+, have mechanical aptitude and experience with large equipment, and obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire. Reports to Recreation Supervisor.
Starting Hourly Rate: $18.22
Operator of ice resurfacer and all other assigned motorized equipment. In the absence of the Recreation Supervisor and Assistant Recreation Supervisor, will be responsible for the total operation of the facility. Will also perform duties related to the maintenance and upkeep of the facility as assigned by the facility management including snow removal and spraying and wiping down high contact areas like locker rooms, bathrooms, benches, doors, etc. During Public Skating may be assigned as a rink attendant, skate sharpener, among other duties. Reports to the Recreation Supervisor or Assistant Recreation Supervisor at Vets Park.
