Job summary

Vertisystem (A MOURI Tech Company) seeks an experienced z/OS Network Systems Programmer for a 12-month, on-site engagement in Downey, CA. The role focuses on z/OS networking, systems programming, and mainframe hardware management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 8 years working with z/OS Networking.
• Hands-on experience with HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) and IODF (I/O Definition File).
• Experience with z/OSMF, SMP/E, and LU 6.2.
• Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS mainframe hardware and infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of experience managing DS8884 and TS7760C hardware.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support complex mainframe networking and hardware environments.
• Assist with data center migrations, cabling activities, hardware upgrades, and related infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Job description

Pay Range: $85 - $90 per hour on W2

Location: Downey, CA 90242 (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12 months

• Candidates must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable access to a personal vehicle for travel between locations.
• Travel, mileage, and gas expenses will not be reimbursed.
