Job summary

SNOW PARTNERS LLC presents a Buildings and Grounds Technician L2 position at Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ. This full-time role reports to Mountain Operations and carries an hourly wage of $22.00–$25.00.

You will perform day-to-day maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and system troubleshooting to keep the resort running smoothly. Ideal candidates read and interpret manuals, have a valid driver license, and are willing to work flexible hours and overtime, in all weather, to

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Be able to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Trade school or 5 years work experience in the field.
• Be able to work flexible schedule and overtime when needed.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day general maintenance and repairs. (plumbing, electric, carpentry)
• Maintain a safe working environment and practice a safe work philosophy
• Work in all types of weather when needed
• Work efficiently to accomplish department goals
• Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems
• Troubleshooting pumps and motors
• Adheres to all safety regulations, local, state and federal codes
• Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs on an occasional basis
• Be available for after hours contact in the event of facility-oriented emergency
• Be able to interact with other departments to accomplish resort objectives
• Complete projects without direct supervision
• Fix or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices like multimeters and voltmeters.
• Experience climbing telephone poles helpful
• Make recommendations to address structural maintenance issues

How the Buildings and Grounds Technician works with the Team:
