Job summary

Mountain Creek is seeking a Buildings and Grounds Technician L2 to perform day-to-day maintenance across the resort facilities in Vernon, NJ. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs, with emphasis on safety and cross-department collaboration.

The role requires a High School diploma (trade schooling or equivalent experience preferred), valid driver license, and flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must have valid driver license.
• Trade school or 5 years work experience in the field.
• Be able to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Be able to work flexible schedule and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electric, carpentry).
• Inspect electrical systems and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot pumps and motors.
• Fix or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Be available for after hours contact in the event of facility-oriented emergency.
• Interact with other departments to accomplish resort objectives.
• Complete projects without direct supervision.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, local, state and federal codes.
• Lift in excess of 50lbs on an occasional basis.
