To Be Magnetic seeks an experienced YouTube video editor for Lacy Phillips' personal channel. You will edit 2 videos per month (5–20 minutes each) with a clean, chic style that makes viewers feel like they're right there with her.

This role combines technical editing with strategy: optimize titles, descriptions, and thumbnails for SEO, craft hooks for the first 15–30 seconds, and loosely engage with comments to boost growth as the channel expands.

Qualifications

• Experience editing specifically for YouTube (not general video editing).
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and audience retention.
• Ability to design thumbnails and test titles.
• Able to work independently and meet monthly deadlines.
• Experience with personal brand / creator / coaching content is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Edit 2 videos per month (5–20 minutes each) for personal vlogging content.
• Optimize titles, descriptions, and tags for YouTube SEO.
• Design or guide the creation of thumbnails to drive clicks.
• Structure hooks and pacing in the first 15–30 seconds to maximize retention.
• Respond and loosely manage comments to boost engagement.
• Access to sound packages for edits.
• Advise on what's working based on YouTube trends and analytics.
• Collaborate with the team on content strategy as the channel grows.
