To Be Magnetic seeks an experienced YouTube video editor for Lacy Phillips' personal channel. You will edit 2 videos per month (5–20 minutes each) with a clean, chic style that makes viewers feel like they're right there with her.
This role combines technical editing with strategy: optimize titles, descriptions, and thumbnails for SEO, craft hooks for the first 15–30 seconds, and loosely engage with comments to boost growth as the channel expands.
Estimated Hours: ~10–15 hrs/month to start (2 videos/month ranging from 5 minutes - 20 minutes), with room to grow
This starts at 2 videos/month but there's real room to grow. Lacy already has a loyal following with over 70k IG followers, 400k IG following on her business account @tobemagnetic, and 34k subscribers on To Be Magnetic youtube channel.
Although her personal channel will be starting from scratch, it has the real potential to grow and scale quickly. There is also the opportunity to do more editing for To Be Magnetic's youtube channel and for Jessica Gill's youtube channel (podcast cohost) if it's an aligned fit.
We're looking for an experienced YouTube video editor to work on Lacy Phillips' personal YouTube channel. A good example of what she is looking to create is similar to Ballerina Farm. This isn't a corporate talking head, it will be a lot of day in the life vlogging content around her hobby farm properties in Topanga and Mendocino. To get a better sense of her aesthetic and style you can check out her instagram account: @lacyannephillips. We're looking for simple and clean cuts, grounded, chic, and the kind of youtube video that makes you feel like you're right there experiencing it all with her.
This is also a bit of a strategic editing role and it's a big bonus if you have start to finish full youtube channel experience: account creation, thumbnails, hooks, video titles, seo/algorithm/tagging, and can loosely manage responding to comments to boost engagement.
Proven experience editing specifically for YouTube (not just general video editing). Please share channel examples you've worked on, ideally with any growth metrics or shareable insights.
