Job summary

Fallen Media, a next-generation studio behind hit formats for TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms, is seeking a rockstar long‑form social producer in the New York City metropolitan area to help build and scale a slate of breakout YouTube series.

This on-site, full-time role centers on inventing, launching and scaling franchise-ready formats while collaborating with talent, production teams and company leaders to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience telling social stories
• Background in unscripted, reality, formats, or digital storytelling — TV development, documentary, branded content, or social video are all relevant.
• Experience developing or executing repeatable, franchise-ready formats.
• Strong creative instincts around pacing, stakes, humor, emotional payoff, and audience hooks.
• Ability to lead like a showrunner, owning the vision from idea to delivery.
• Deep understanding of internet-native storytelling and youth culture.
• Comfort working in fast, iterative environments where shows evolve weekly.
• Not required: prior YouTube experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new unscripted/reality YouTube formats from concept to pilot to full series.
• Build repeatable, scalable format engines (e.g. challenge shows, game-based formats, docu-style, live, social experiments).
• Lead creative development: treatments, pitch decks, beatsheets, story design, and pilots.
• Oversee production across pre-pro, shoots, and post to ensure pacing, tone, and storytelling that maximizes retention.
• Collaborate closely with producers, editors, talent, and creators throughout execution.
• Use performance data (CTR, retention, watch time) to refine formats and guide programming decisions.
• Identify and cast high-potential hosts/creators for new series.
• Help shape the creative and programming strategy for new YouTube channels across Fallen Media.
• Continuously monitor cultural trends and translate them into high-opportunity new shows.

Fallen Media is a next-generation studio building hit original formats for TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Our shows reach tens of millions weekly, from Street Hearts and What’s Poppin’ with Davis to a growing slate of social-first shows. We’re now aggressively expanding into premium YouTube formats and are looking for a rockstar long-form social producer to get us there.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for a social-first, long-form producer located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will partner with our YouTube lead to build and scale a slate of breakout, non-scripted YouTube series.

This is not a “YouTube manager” role; it is a format-creator, showrunner-mindset role. You may come from TV development, reality, documentary, unscripted, social content, or creative studio worlds.

Your job: Invent, launch, and optimize hit YouTube formats that can scale to millions of views per episode and become long-running franchises. You’ll partner closely with our talent, creators, production teams, and company leaders to shape the next era of Fallen Media Originals.
