Job summary

Mattel, Inc. is seeking a Channel Coordinator to manage day-to-day content publishing and performance analysis for its dolls YouTube channels.

You will collaborate with the Associate Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure voice consistency and execution of programming strategy. Your role includes publishing, thumbnail optimization, playlists, and real-time performance reporting to support channel health and audience growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in content publishing.
• BA/BS preferred.
• Experience with children’s content on YouTube is a plus.
• Strong time management, planning, and project execution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and extract insights to create recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Publish videos and create metadata aligned with channel strategy and platform best practices.
• Coordinate with Graphics Design Associate to develop optimized thumbnails for each video.
• Update channel and content curations, including playlists, banners, trailers, and shelves.
• Execute against a video delivery workflow in partnership with Creative team.
• Collaborate with Strategy to manage programming calendars.
• Assist in metadata translations and closed captioning as needed.
• Periodically launch, operate, and wind down per-channel livestreams (El Segundo office).
• Other channel management responsibilities as business evolves.
• Execute processes developed by YouTube Operations in coordination with department manager.
