Heart of Oregon Corps in Redmond, Oregon seeks licensed Teachers to join our alternative education team serving 16–24-year-olds. The Teacher will coordinate and deliver holistic instruction focused on core subjects, GED prep, and college and career readiness.

This full-time role utilizes differentiated instruction, blended learning, and vocational integration. You will develop curriculum, support GED testing logistics, track progress, and help students pursue post-secondary goals.

Qualifications

• Curriculum and lesson planning experience; familiarity with assessment tools; interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong classroom management and an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and Oregon teaching license with Language Arts or Social Studies endorsements; bilingual a plus; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic instruction focused on core subjects and GED prep.
• Develop and adapt curriculum; support GED testing logistics.
• Track student progress and collaborate with educators, case managers, and trainers.
• Help students identify and pursue post-secondary goals.
• Coordinate project-based, vocationally relevant learning experiences.
