Job summary

ANEW is a nonprofit organization focused on youth and workforce development in Pierce County. The Program Manager II will oversee the YouthBuild program, managing logistics, reporting, budgets, and collaboration with partner organizations to deliver pre-apprenticeship training and job placement services.

The role is grant-funded and based at ANEW’s Tukwila locations. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating program calendars, ensuring policy adherence, and leading industry

Qualifications

• Five years of combined experience as a coordinator or program manager in state or federal grant education, training, or workforce development roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in nonprofit management, human services, or other applicable field is required.
• Commitment to DEI values and understanding of equity and social justice principles and how they can be applied internally and in the field.
• Flexibility and adaptability in working with a growing non-profit.
• Strong communication and administrative skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects.
• Experience working collaboratively partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administrative and fiscal functions of the YouthBuild program including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Supervise a team including a Coordinator/Case Manager.
• Coordinate calendars and curriculum with partner organizations to meet learning outcomes.
• Ensure program policies and procedures are adhered to and aligned with organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with employers, unions, apprenticeship programs, and industry employers.
• Monitor participant progress and ensure stipends and support services are delivered.
