Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Construction Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with opportunity youth or workforce development programs.
• Knowledge of basic math instruction and construction-related curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction in mathematics and other academic subjects.
• Assist in delivering and reinforcing the NCCER Construction Curriculum.
• Monitor participant progress and provide academic support, tutoring, and intervention.
• Maintain accurate daily attendance records and report attendance concerns.
• Support program staff, including Case and Transition Supervisor and YouthBuild Technician Supervisor.
• Collaborate with YouthBuild staff to coordinate classroom and construction training activities.
• Promote positive behavior, leadership, teamwork, and workplace readiness skills.
• Maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and program activities.
• Support data collection, documentation, and reporting for grant compliance.
