Crossroads Presbyterian Fellowship in St. Louis, MO is hiring a full-time Director of Youth and Worship to lead our 6th–12th grade students and oversee music and volunteers on Sunday morning. The position is ordainable, but ordination in the PCA is not required.

The role emphasizes discipleship, mentorship, and worship leadership within a collaborative church setting. A BA and 2+ years in youth and worship leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Applicant must demonstrate deep faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to church mission.
• Ability to mentor youth and lead worship with musical skills.
• Strong integrity and character consistent with biblical principles.
• Excellent relationship-building and people-focused leadership.
• Proficient with basic computer literacy, Google Suite, and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop the disciple-making ministry to youth and help integrate students into church life.
• Nurture relationships; know the students and involve adults in discipleship.
• Oversee ministry administration, budgeting, scheduling, and Planning Center usage.
• Communicate clearly with parents, elders, volunteers, and staff; coordinate with other ministry leaders.
• Lead Sunday worship music: run rehearsals, chart songs, and coordinate with band members.
• Oversee weekly music administration tasks: post sermon recordings, prepare slides, print charts, and assign worship leaders.
• Recruit and train teams for youth and children’s ministries to support planning and leadership.
• Participate in communal spiritual formation activities as schedule allows.
