Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking a Workforce Development Employment Coach for Out-of-School Youth in Cumberland and Cape May Counties, NJ. This full-time role carries a $49,140 yearly salary and includes a sign-on bonus.

You will oversee program operations, staff and participant engagement, collaborate with partners, and drive job-readiness initiatives. The position requires a bachelor's degree or related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Two or more years in workforce development, case management, or related field.
• Knowledge of workforce development programs and career pathways.
• Experience with youth facing barriers to employment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting eligible out-of-school youth via outreach, referrals and networking.
• Evaluate participants' academic skills to identify learning needs and progress.
• Facilitate remediation and workshops on job readiness and financial literacy.
• Provide one-on-one career coaching and supportive case management.
• Build partnerships with community organizations to connect participants with resources.
• Develop employer relationships and identify job placement opportunities.
• Coordinate employer presentations and job fairs; monitor progress and adjust plans.
