Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is hiring part-time coaches to lead after-school sessions for children aged 5–10 across Bay Area schools. Sessions run Monday–Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, typically one class per day (about one hour) with optional 30 minutes prep.

Pay is $50–$65 per session, all equipment provided; candidates must have reliable transportation, be 19+, and be willing to complete TB test and Live Scan. In-person availability and local residence are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
