Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC in the Bay Area seeks a part-time youth coach to lead one class per day (about one hour) at various elementary schools, typically 1:00 PM–5:00 PM sessions.

Sessions are for ages 5–10, with 8–16 students per class. Training/shadowing is required, equipment is provided, and candidates must have reliable transportation and be fully vaccinated with TB Live Scan screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan.
• Experience with kids or sports is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to program sites.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment is provided; coach must have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
