Job summary

Shoreline Club Volleyball Coach role with Minnetonka Community Education Center (MCEC) begins November 2026. Season runs November–May with two weekly practices and weekend tournaments. Wages are a stipend, not medical or dental benefits.

Position posted until filled. Responsibilities include leading all volleyball participants, coaching practices and events, collaborating with coaches to ensure safe play, and helping participants reach their full potential while upholding district guidelines and

Qualifications

Complete concussion training as required by law.
Prior experience in volleyball is required.
Evidence of successful coaching experience; ability to teach fundamental skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, respectful attitude
Strong communication skills.
Proven ability to work with students, parents, and staff.
Commitment to program's high standards
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance for all volleyball participants.
Attend and coach practices, weekend tournaments, and community events.
Collaborate with coaches to organize, set–up, and ensure a safe practice or competition.
Help all participants to develop to their full potential.
Implement age appropriate program philosophies, goals, policy and procedures.
Ensure that all participants follow Minnetonka School District guidelines and code of conduct.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Promote sportsmanship and respect for judges, teams, parents, fans, athletes, administrators and fellow competitors.
