Job summary

YMCA Bethlehem is seeking a Youth Volleyball Coach to lead engaging, safe programs for youth in Bethlehem, PA. This part-time, hourly role runs on Tuesdays and Fridays evenings, offering meaningful community impact and opportunities to mentor children through sport.

You will foster positive relationships with participants and parents, organize leagues and activities, and collaborate with a supportive team at the Y to help children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Background in competitive or recreational sports, especially volleyball.
• Enjoyment from working with children and maintaining positive relationships with their parents.
• Must be 16 years or older; able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, fun, and safe volleyball programs for all participants.
• Ensure programs meet the needs of all ages, abilities, and skill levels.
• Organize participation for volleyball programs and leagues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members and parents.

What is needed for this job:

• A background in competitive or recreational sports; especially volleyball!

• 16+ years of age
