Job summary

Tennyson Center for Children is seeking candidates for an on-site position in Denver. The role involves implementing treatment plans and IEPs, providing a therapeutic learning environment, and supporting classroom management with collaboration across educational and clinical staff.

Requirements include a BA in Human Services or related field, experience with special needs K-12, and obtaining a Colorado driver’s license. A pre-employment background, drug, and related checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Human Services or related field is required.
• Experience in educational settings with special needs children is preferred.
• All candidates must have and be able to obtain a Colorado driver’s license.
• Pre-employment checks including drug test and background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and IEPs as directed by clinicians and teachers.
• Provide a therapeutic learning environment with tutoring and behavioral supports.
• Assist with classroom management by collaborating with education, clinical and student engagement staff.
• Ensure adherence to positive behavior supports at milieu and individual levels.
