Job summary

AMIkids is seeking a responsible Driver to provide safe, supervised transportation for youth to program activities and home destinations in Florida. You will model positive behavior, maintain valid licenses and endorsements, and follow all safety procedures.

Occasional trips and on-call demand may occur; first aid/CPR may be necessary. You will contribute to a supportive environment and help ensure youth supervision during travel, with potential for overnight or weekend assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency is required.
• Current DOT Medical Examination Certificate for applicable roles/programs.

Responsibilities

• Transports youth to and from the Institute and its activities in a safe, timely and professional manner.
• Maintains required driver’s license with appropriate endorsements including CDL if required.
• Enforces Transportation Policy and Institute policies, rules and procedures.
• Operates Institute vehicles professionally and courteously as a positive role model.
• Ensures proper supervision of youth and safe boarding/deboarding.
• Oversees day trips and activities involving sports, facilities, and equipment relocation.
• May participate in overnight/weekend trips requiring extended hours or on-call status.
• Administers first aid and CPR per national standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and assists with special projects.
