Job summary

AMIkids, Inc. in Florida seeks a Driver to provide safe, supervised transportation for youth to program activities, homes and other assigned locations, while upholding safety as the top priority.

The role requires maintaining a valid driver's license with endorsements (including CDL if needed) and strict adherence to Institute policies and safe driving practices. You will serve as a positive role model and may participate in overnight or weekend trips as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current DOT Medical Examination Certificate (for applicable roles/programs)

Responsibilities

• Transports youth to and from the Institute and its activities in a safe, timely and professional manner while obeying traffic laws and safe driving procedures.
• Maintains required driver's license with appropriate endorsements including CDL, if required, in good standing.
• Enforces Transportation Policy and Institute policies, rules and procedures.
• Operates Institute vehicles professionally and serves as a positive role model for youth.
• Ensures proper supervision of youth and safe boarding/deboarding.
• Oversees overnights or trips as needed, including weekends and extended hours as required.
• Administers first aid and CPR during emergencies per National standards.

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalency
