Job summary

Boys Town in Storm Lake, IA is seeking a Youth Transport & Visitation Aide to safely transport youth to family visits and supervise visits. This full-time role requires a high school diploma and driver’s license with a clean record, with mileage reimbursed.

You will document visits, support families, and engage them to promote positive outcomes, with evenings and weekends required. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour plus a $2,500 signing bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in youth care or human services.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and pass a Motor Vehicle Registration check.
• Ability to drive for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Ability to provide own transportation with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting youth to and from family visits.
• Supervising visits to ensure safe, appropriate interactions.
• Guiding parents with constructive engagement and redirection.
• Documenting visits and reporting behaviors or safety concerns.
• Building trust with families to support positive outcomes.
