Job summary

Boys Town in Sioux Center, IA, is hiring a Youth Transport & Visitation Specialist. You will safely transport youth to family visits and supervise sessions to ensure safety and appropriate interactions.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in youth care, and a valid driver’s license with clean record. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are expected; mileage is reimbursed and insurance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in youth care or human services.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Registration check.
• Ability to drive for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting youth to and from family visits.
• Supervising visits to ensure safe, appropriate interactions.
• Guiding parents with constructive engagement and redirection.
• Documenting visits and reporting behaviors or safety concerns.
• Building trust with families to support positive outcomes.
