Job summary

BGCDC is seeking a Youth Coordinator skilled trades to lead hands-on activities for youth ages 5–18 and adolescents aged 11–18. The role supports construction career exposure, collaborates with Boys & Girls Clubs and the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center, and requires midday-evening hours with travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities include planning, supervision, data entry, and program partnerships to foster workforce readiness and safe, engaging environments for youth development.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience delivering curriculum to youth (ages 5–18).
• Experience with youth and adolescents in multiple settings preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish encouraged.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for youth (ages 5–18).
• Track attendance and eligibility and coordinate cohort activities.
• Ensure safety and oversee classroom setup and maintenance.
• Recruit and enroll youth into workforce programs; assist with events.
• Collaborate with partners and volunteers; support transportation as needed.
