Job summary

Choices is seeking to contract with a professional to provide evidence-based therapy services to youth diagnosed with SED who would benefit from mental health counseling.

The contractor must hold PCMHT/CMHT, LMFTA, P-LPC or LMSW licensure; Mississippi licensure strongly preferred. The work includes coordinating information across agencies, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering regular therapy sessions with progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field; 2 years of direct mental health counseling experience.
• Mississippi license strongly preferred (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist).
• Maintains active clinical license/certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of clinical information across agencies while protecting confidentiality.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions and monitor client progress.
• Complete professional documentation per service descriptions.
• Provide crisis intervention services meeting state standards.
• Ensure administrative efficiency, quality, and cost-effective service provision.
• Participate in critical incident debriefs related to assigned clients.
