Job summary

i9 Sports - Aspen Management in the Albuquerque area is seeking a passionate Youth Tennis Instructor. This part-time contractor role includes weekend shifts and a starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and employee discounts.

You will deliver engaging, age-appropriate tennis lessons, promote sportsmanship, and ensure safety while communicating progress to parents and coordinating with fellow instructors to optimize the program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of youth tennis coaching experience.
• Solid knowledge of tennis techniques, rules and strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate tennis lessons.
• Teach techniques, strategies, and rules with sportsmanship.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Lead structured practices, drills, and games.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Ensure player safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain attendance records and update parents.
• Collaborate with instructors to coordinate schedules.
